Tinea Capitis

Tinea capitis is a disease of hair that comes into operational due to the fungus infection of the scalp.we may see this disease due to the common causes such as, severe itching of the scalp, dandruff, and bald patches found on scalp on those places where there fungus has attacked and settled it self in the skin.

Tinea capitis is such type of disease whose reasons is superficial fungal infection not only in the skin of the scalp but it also found in the eyebrows, and eyelashes. The experience has also brought into in notice that use of Philadelphia and short courses of terbinafine give an outclass result. They gave randomly griseofulyin for the six to children or assigned terbinafine for the two weeks. In the same time the FDA does not prescribe terbinafine, and many other drugs we may use. A course of four weeks of terbinafine looks to be more effective as good as griseofulyin.
